Server - Suites

If you’d like to join a team that’s people-first, diverse, innovative, and energized about delivering extraordinary fan experiences to our guests, then we’d love to sign you to a player's contract! **THE POSITION** Reporting to the Suites Management Team, the Suites Server is responsible for creating a flawless customer experience for the suite guests through a high quality of service and menu knowledge. The server will conduct a full-cycle serving process including talking orders, advising on menu items, delivering food and drinks, addressing customer concerns and feedback, overall suite cleanliness, and handling payments. A minimum of 2 years of serving required. Must have ProServe certification. **WHAT WE OFFER** - Gratuities earned every shift; - Parking pass when working; - Opportunity for growth and development; - Advanced scheduling; - Discount at all CSEC retail stores; - Service and recognition awards; - Be a part of your favorite sporting and entertainment events in the city. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Review suite pre-orders to verity event date and order times; - Ensure suite is properly set up including plateware, glassware, flatware, chafers, etc; - Welcome guests and make introductions to self and service model; - Review food pre-order and make menu suggestions for event day orders; - Serve suite guests food and beverages as per their requests; - Abide by all policies, laws, and regulations regarding food safety and alcohol service; - Maintain the Point of Sales (POS) system and process payments as required; - Conduct post-event cleaning, tear down, and reset; - Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices; - All other duties as required. **THE INDIVIDUAL** The ideal candidate will have the following background: - Responsible Service awareness is preferred; - Must be ProServe certified and be 18 years of age or older; - Minimum two years of prior food and beverage service experience is required; - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables at once; - Strong interpersonal and team work skills; - Exemplary customer service skills; - Schedule flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts. - MUST have open availability during 10 days of Stampede Please note, this position is based on the event schedule in a fast paced environment, with emphasis on evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
