The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate, self-motivated, diligent, and with a natural inclination to make the people around them happy. Responsibilities: - Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and daily specials - Suggest wine pairings based on the food they order - Confirm orders with chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested - Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner - Work closely with restaurant management and immediately address all customer concerns as they present themselves - Create a pleasant dining experience Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant environment required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor - Familiarity with POS systems and standards restaurant procedures - Food Handlers and TABC certifications - Flexible availability, including mornings & evenings, weekends and holidays
