## Overview **THIS IS A DUAL RATE POSITION - open to current employees who are part time or full time. This opportunity provides a wage of $30/Hr plus tips!** The Event Server provides food and beverage service to guests attending Jackson Rancheria entertainment events. This position is responsible for delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service at all times. ## Responsibilities - Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines. - Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages in accordance with department and Jackson Rancheria standards. - Accurately and efficiently enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system. - Accurately and efficiently process guest payments, including providing correct change for cash transactions. - Assemble, prepare, and distribute guest orders with accuracy and efficiency. - Adhere to and remain in compliance with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license conditions and all Jackson Rancheria policies related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages including guest ID verification and providing bracelets to guests for the allowance of alcohol purchases. - Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. - Comply with Jackson Rancheria and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards. - Complete maintenance and support tasks as assigned, including: - Cleaning and maintaining tidiness, presentation and sanitation of the work area - Stocking supplies and restocking inventory as needed - Setting up and breaking down concession stations - Performing opening and closing duties - Assisting with minor food preparation - Maintain a positive, professional appearance and attitude at all times. - Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction including assisting Event Attendants if requested. ## Qualifications - No experience is required, though previous experience in a guest service related position would be preferred. - Able to obtain & maintain a Jackson Rancheria Gaming License. - Must acquire and maintain California state recommended “Alcoholic Beverage” server training certificate as approved by Jackson Rancheria management. - Able to obtain & maintain a Jackson Rancheria approved Food Handler’s Card. Course to be provided by Jackson Rancheria and/or comparable certificate from a Jackson Rancheria approved authoritative source such as SERVSAFE. - **This opportunity provides a wage of $30/Hr plus tips!** To be eligible for this Dual Rate position, employees must be able to provide event support for atleast one of the following dates/events. Doors open at 6pm and concerts begin at 7pm.
