The Position We’ve been able to craft a best-in-class app for iOS and Mac, and now want to bring Copilot to the web with the same level of user experience. To achieve this, we’re looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join us in the development of our new platform, and contribute to the building of an all-star Web team, of which you’d be the third member. This is a hybrid position based in Santiago, Chile. You’ll be required to come into our office at least 2 times a week along with the rest of the team. We work from home the rest of the week, but the office is always available in case you want to make use of it more often. Your Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features and constantly improve the ones we already have. - Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the web app. - Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability. Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience working on Web apps on the frontend side - 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and React - Knowledge of React frameworks and built tools - Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility - Experience with asynchronous request handling - An eye for good design and attention to detail - Team player who can manage time independently - English proficiency; all of our meetings and internal communications are in English - Based in Santiago, Chile Desired Qualifications - Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent - Knowledge of performance and scalability techniques - Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices - Experience with: Progress Web Apps, Google Cloud / Firebase / Firestore, Mobile apps, CI / CD systems Compensation and Benefits - Monthly salary of CLP $3.000.000 - $3.600.000 (líquido). - Equity in the company (Stock options) - Home Office Setup - Complementary health insurance (in process) - Remote work allowance (CLP $50.000/month)Wellness allowance (CLP $85.000/month) - We cover sick days that your health insurance doesn’t pay (usually the first 3 days of a medical leave) - After 2 years in the company you get 5 extra vacation days, and 5 more after 4 years - Extra free day for your birthday 🥳 (you can take it any day of the month) - 4 administrative days per year (non-accumulable) - Annual company retreats
