Senior Virtualization & Automation Expert

Our partner is looking for a Senior Virtualization & Automation Expert based in United States.** This role offers the opportunity to shape and optimize enterprise infrastructure environments through advanced virtualization and automation solutions. You will design, operate, and improve highly available platforms while driving efficiency through modern DevOps practices. The position combines deep technical expertise in VMware, OpenShift, infrastructure-as-code, and AI-supported automation. You will contribute to reliable, scalable, and secure systems that support critical business operations. Working in a collaborative technology environment, you will help evolve infrastructure capabilities and improve operational excellence. Your work will directly impact platform stability, automation maturity, and the future of digital operations. ### Accountabilities: - ware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vCenter, and OpenShift Virtualization. - Build and evolve scalable, highly available infrastructure environments with a focus on reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platforms using observability tools such as vROps, Prometheus, and Grafana. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and related technologies. - Integrate AI-driven automation capabilities into operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. - Manage incidents, support service reliability, and ensure SLA/SLO commitments are achieved. - Apply security best practices, including access control, least privilege principles, and secure secrets management. - Participate in critical operational activities, including on-call support when required. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure professional with strong expertise in virtualization, automation, and modern operations practices.
