Senior Systems Engineer

**SAIC** is seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer** in **Silverdale, WA**. **Job Duties**: - Provide expert technical analysis support for the life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems to include all phases of the life-cycle from initial capabilities determination to post-employment evaluation. - Provide planning and coordination support interfacing with NAVSEA, Shipyard and Fleet activities for the execution and documentation of maintenance availabilities, engineering changes/alterations, supply support. - Serve as the Training and Test Lead for the operational testing, system shakedown events, and Fleet training/workups. - Develop, maintain and implement processes for configuration management and document control, deviation/departure tracking and management, schedule/milestone establishment and tracking, and cost estimation and control. - Coordinate and participate in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings and tracking action items. ### Qualifications Qualifications: - Must have a Bachelors degree and nine (9) years of experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. - Must have at least (9) nine years of experience with submarine life-cycle management and/or in-service support. - Must have a Top Secret clearance clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. ### About the Company [SAIC®](http://www.saic.com/) is a premier mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
