Senior Staff Accountant - Healthcare

**Senior Staff Accountant, Healthcare** AllerVie Health | Frisco, TX | Full-Time AllerVie Health is a national allergy and immunology platform with a growing corporate accounting function. We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting out of our Frisco, TX headquarters. **What You'll Own** - Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities - Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including financial statements and variance analysis - Support internal and external audits with schedules, documentation, and inquiry responses - Analyze account balances and financial transactions to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions - Assist with tax filings, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting of revenues, expenses, and capital assets - Mentor junior accounting staff on accounting principles and best practices - Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives **What We're Looking For** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred - 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or healthcare environment - Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls - Proficiency in accounting software and Excel - Experience in multisite healthcare, familiarity with RCM revenue recognition, and ERP systems such as NetSuite **Why This Role** - Onsite role at AllerVie's Frisco, TX headquarters with a collaborative finance team - Exposure to a complex, high-growth healthcare platform - Competitive compensation
