Your Team Being part of the APAC Talent Acquisition team at On means doing things differently; we don't do things just because they are what “HR does”. We build, grow, enable, and empower the team to drive the future of On. This role is based in Tokyo, Japan, and collaborates across our corporate and regional ecosystems. Your Mission End-to-End Full-Cycle Recruitment: Independently own and execute full-cycle searches across all professional levels, including complex and senior corporate/specialist searches. Take complete accountability for search progress, milestones, and challenges Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers. Design and implement targeted search strategies prior to role kickoff, leverage advanced TA knowledge, and confidently navigate challenging candidate markets and high-level offer negotiations Process Excellence & Governance: Drive workflow efficiency and hold hiring managers and interviewers strictly accountable to agreed-upon processes. Identify pipeline bottlenecks, execute workflows autonomously, and coach partners on recruitment best practices Data-Driven Decision Making: Proactively collate market mapping and historical data at search kickoff to inform sourcing strategies. Utilize data (including Greenhouse reports and dashboards) to tell a compelling story, influence hiring teams, and backup recruiting goals and projections Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate strong alignment within hiring teams, address search misalignments early, and build deep partnerships across the talent ecosystem. Manage up effectively by proposing solutions first Mentorship & Digital Agility: Mentor junior recruiters on the implementation of advanced workflow technologies and AI tools. Move past basic tool usage to clearly explain the strategic "why" behind modern recruiting workflows to stakeholders Culture & Value Assessment: Act as an authentic brand ambassador. Lead by example and protect cultural standards by coaching hiring teams on how to accurately and cleanly assess company values without bias. Your Story Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting within a high-growth corporate environment, professional agency, or fast-paced global company Industry background : Retail, sports goods, fashion, lifestyle and luxury preferred Proven Track Record: Proven history of independently managing a complex, multi-level portfolio of searches and collaborating successfully with senior functional leaders Advanced TA Capability: Demonstrated ability to proactively map talent markets, design tailored candidate pitches, and handle sophisticated compensation negotiations Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging recruitment metrics (such as Forecast Accuracy, Time-to-Hire, and Candidate/HM NPS) to influence business decisions Leadership & Feedback: Experience providing high-quality peer feedback, onboarding/ramming newer team members, and elevating overall team capability Candidate Experience: A passion for consistently delivering a high-touch, "wow" experience to candidates throughout their journey Language: Fluency in English and Japanese is highly preferred given the regional scope and stakeholder matrix
