Senior Solutions Engineer (Enterprise & Federal) Location: Remote – Eastern Time Zone preferred. Candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Northern Virginia, Maryland, or surrounding regions are strongly preferred. The Opportunity RapidFort is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to help drive our continued growth across Enterprise and Federal markets. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where you'll serve as the trusted advisor between our engineering organization and prospective customers. You'll partner closely with Account Executives throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, working directly with CISOs, Security Architects, Platform Engineering teams, DevSecOps leaders, and executive stakeholders to demonstrate how RapidFort transforms software supply chain security. This is not a demo-only role. We're looking for someone who can understand complex customer environments, design technical solutions, lead proof-of-concepts, influence technical decision makers, and become a trusted advisor throughout the buying journey. What You'll Do Technical Discovery & Solution Design Partner with Enterprise Account Executives throughout complex technical sales engagements. Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer architectures, security challenges, compliance requirements, and modernization initiatives. Design technical solutions aligned with customer cloud-native environments. Build customized demonstrations addressing customer-specific use cases. Lead architecture discussions around Kubernetes, containers, software supply chain security, and cloud infrastructure. Proof of Concept Leadership Design and execute successful Proof of Concepts (POCs). Guide customer engineering teams through deployment and validation. Troubleshoot technical issues during evaluations. Drive successful technical outcomes that accelerate sales cycles. Technical Evangelism Present RapidFort's platform to audiences ranging from DevSecOps engineers to executive leadership. Demonstrate the business impact of vulnerability remediation, attack surface reduction, and software supply chain security. Educate customers on modern cloud-native security best practices. Represent RapidFort at customer meetings, executive briefings, conferences, and industry events. Security & Compliance Consulting Advise customers on Kubernetes security, container security, software supply chain security, and vulnerability management. Consult on compliance initiatives including FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, STIG, CIS Benchmarks, and SOC 2. Help customers understand how RapidFort accelerates compliance while improving developer productivity.
