Kraken Customer What we do: build the most AI-driven, innovative, forward-thinking platform for energy management. From optimizing resources to delivering cost-effective, exceptional customer experiences through advanced Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications, Kraken is powering the next wave of innovation in the energy industry. Our team Our technology is built and maintained by a multi-discipline engineering team of around 800 people. This collaborative environment includes server-side, client-side, and mobile engineers working closely with UX experts, copywriters, and designers. We utilize tools such as Slack, Notion, Google Docs and Asana for communication, work specification and management. Our development pipeline emphasizes continuous delivery and immutable infrastructure, leveraging Github, CircleCI, and Terraform Enterprise. To ensure performance and stability in production, we use Loggly, Sentry, and DataDog for monitoring and measurement. Most of our websites are powered by Django, Django-REST-framework and GraphQL (Graphene). We use Kubernetes & AWS heavily, employing Github, CircleCI, ArgoCD & Spacelift as part of a continuous deployment pipeline. What you'll do... This is a unique chance for software engineers to shape the technical direction of a critical new product group within Kraken. You'll be at the forefront of applying modern technologies to a historically underserved sector, directly contributing to a more sustainable energy future while working on challenging and impactful projects from the ground up.
