We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches. What you’ll do As a Backend Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and optimize systems that power mission-critical applications. Your role will adapt to your strengths and interests, with opportunities to work across the entire customer journey. Our team is responsible for the customer onboarding, license and entitlements management while they are a customer and the offboarding process. At the heart of the customer experience, we integrate with most internal systems and various external systems including our Sales and Support systems.. Core Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable backend systems and APIs. Ensure high system performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards. Mentor junior engineers or take on leadership roles, depending on your seniority. Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications (for Senior Levels) Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. What else you need to know This role is based in our Mountain View office location. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $176,000 – $242,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
