Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems . Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and security. Conduct design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and best practices. Drive and enforce Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices . Optimize applications using tools such as AWS X-Ray . Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations , aligning technical delivery with business objectives. Collaborate across multiple lines of business and with upstream/downstream partners. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of software engineering experience , with the ability to lead or mentor junior engineers. Strong programming expertise in Python (and/or other languages). Experience with: Machine Learning / Generative AI Prompt Engineering Agentic AI systems Writing and maintaining Markdown documentation Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services . Familiarity with: AWS Athena AWS X-Ray CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) VS Code and modern development environments GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools Experience building trade and risk management systems (preferred). Demonstrated experience or capability in team leadership or technical leadership (nice to have). The base pay rate for this position is $140,000 - 170,000 USD.
