Senior Software Engineer, Android Laptop and Tablet Sensor

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C or C++). 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems. Responsibilities Work with cross-functional teams and engineering managers to develop kernel HAL, framework that enables user experience with next generation sensing technologies. Write code in C, C++, Objective-C or Python for embedded microcontroller and sensor applications. Create and execute plans to bring-up, debug and validate designs to achieve functional and performance goals. Design basic software Graphical User Interface (GUI) to demonstrate the feature. Learn Android sensor framework and adapt for desktop form factors. Present results to both internal and external Engineering teams.
