Specific eligibility and coverage details will be provided during the hiring process** Job Summary: The Integrated Fire and Security Solutions Coral Springs, FL branch is seeking experienced Senior Security & Alarm Service Technicians to join our team! This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems - including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection (IDS), with additional exposure to fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a heavy security background, proven experience in installations, and familiarity with fire alarm technologies. Service area is primarily the Miami-Dade region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and execute installation of security systems (CCTV, access control, IDS) and assist with fire alarm systems as needed. Interpret blueprints and update as-built documentation accurately. Ensure all equipment and materials are staged and ready for installation. Identify and resolve field modifications or scope gaps to maintain project integrity. Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local codes for security and fire systems. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices through training and certifications. Maintain clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution. Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on complex installations. Required Skills & Qualifications 4+ years of experience in the low-voltage industry, with a strong focus on security systems (CCTV, access control, IDS). Experience programming and configuring access control systems required. Fire alarm experience is a plus. High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred. Strong knowledge of security and fire system codes and standards. Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Valid Florida Fire Alarm License (FASA/BASA) or ability to obtain it. Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements. Proficiency with technology tools and system programming.
