Be a part of engineering a comprehensive portfolio of proven, powerful neurovascular technologies, setting the highest standards of integrity and reliability in Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke Care. Work independently under general supervision within a computational modeling team to generate new simulation tools or apply existing tools for the prediction of device performance and safety. We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: - Develop & utilize structural finite-element modeling tools for the design and evaluation of neurovascular device/s. - Implement general mechanical design and solid mechanics fundamentals to drive product development for the treatment of neurovascular diseases. - Work collaboratively with front-end R&D and product development teams as well as with cross-functional team members to bring new products to market. - Utilize computational modeling & simulation to develop new test methods; integrate materials and processes; characterize device performance. - Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical assessments and analysis results. - Generate technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies. - Offer insight, guidance, and mentorship to project team members. - Aid in the generation of intellectual property. - Analyze computational modeling & simulation results, distill key findings, and translate them into conclusions. **Must Have: Minimum Requirements** *To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile and on your resume.* - A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline - Minimum 4 years of experience in using Abaqus Implicit and Explicit solvers to solve real-life biomedical engineering problems.
