Overview: We are looking for a QA Manual + Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of both manual and automation testing principles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright , or similar tools, along with a solid background in manual testing and API testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by developing robust test cases and expanding automation coverage. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests for web and mobile applications. Identify, log, and track defects in a bug-tracking tool. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, and design) to understand testing requirements. Write and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright , or similar tools. Develop and maintain automation for end-to-end (E2E) and regression test suites. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility using cloud testing services like BrowserStack/LambdaTest. Create and execute API tests using tools like Postman, Newman, or similar frameworks. Validate API responses, status codes, and error handling using assertions. Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Collaborate with DevOps to ensure tests run automatically as part of the release process. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports. Provide detailed bug reports, reproduction steps, and test summary reports. Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve software testing efficiency, including AI-assisted test automation, intelligent test case generation, defect prediction, and automation script maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of experience with a deep expertise in testing methodologies and manual testing. 3+ years of experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium,Playwright, or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of manual testing processes, including test case creation and bug reporting. Experience with API testing using Postman/Newman or similar tools. Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for writing automation scripts. Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing. Good to have experience with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or LambdaTest. Knowledge of mobile app testing using Appium. Basic understanding of version control (Git).
