About the Role As a Senior QA Engineer on the Digital Assets team, you will own end-to-end quality for DriveWealth's cryptocurrency and digital assets product suite. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that validate trading workflows, custodial integrations, blockchain settlement, and regulatory compliance across our crypto infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, product, and compliance teams to ship reliable, auditable, and regulation-ready software. What You’ll Do Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for digital asset trading workflows including order lifecycle, settlement, custody, and reconciliation Build and maintain automated API/backend test suites using Java 21, Cucumber BDD, Rest-Assured, and Maven within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Validate integrations with third-party crypto custodians and infrastructure providers (Fireblocks, BitGo, Coinbase Prime, Circle) including key management, transaction signing, and webhook callbacks Develop Kafka-based event validation frameworks to verify end-to-end message flows across microservices for trade execution, ledger updates, and compliance events Perform regulatory compliance testing covering AML/KYC transaction monitoring, Travel Rule, SAR filing triggers, and OFAC/sanctions screening for digital asset transactions Build and maintain environment-specific test configurations spanning Dev, UAT, and production-like environments on AWS Contribute to Allure TestOps dashboards and reporting to provide real-time visibility into regression health and release readiness Partner with DevOps to integrate test execution into deployment pipelines and establish quality gates for release promotion Participate in incident triage and root cause analysis for production issues, developing targeted regression tests to prevent recurrence Mentor junior QA engineers and drive adoption of testing best practices across the Digital Assets engineering group You Bring 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years focused on backend/API test automation Strong hands-on experience with Java (11+), Cucumber BDD, Rest-Assured, and Maven Demonstrated experience testing financial services or fintech platforms — order management, trade execution, ledger/accounting, or payments Direct experience integrating with or testing against crypto custodial platforms such as Fireblocks, BitGo, Coinbase Prime, or Circle Working knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems: blockchain fundamentals, wallet infrastructure, custody models, and on-chain vs. off-chain settlement Experience testing event-driven architectures u…
