Join our team and help create memorable experiences for guests while supporting the continued growth and development of our parks. **Position Summary** - The Senior Project Manager, Design & Engineering is responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of medium- to large-scale capital improvement projects SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, and Discovery Cove. - This role manages capital projects from concept development through construction completion while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with operational needs. - The Senior Project Manager also supports the Director of Design & Engineering with large-scale capital projects and provides project leadership across cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. - The ideal candidate has strong experience managing design and construction projects in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Serve as Project Manager for capital projects ranging from $1 million to $10 million. - Support the Director of Design & Engineering with large-scale capital projects exceeding $10 million. - Manage multiple concurrent capital improvement and infrastructure projects from planning through project closeout. - Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and project execution plans. - Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout all phases of a project. - Lead project meetings and communicate project status, risks, budget updates, schedules, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership. - Provide regular project status reporting to the Director and VP of Design & Engineering. - Review drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, bids, scopes of work, and contractor proposals. - Participate in contractor selection, bid reviews, contract administration, change order management, and project closeout activities. - Conduct regular site walks to monitor project progress, quality, safety compliance, and contractor performance. - Support permitting, bidding, construction administration, vendor coordination, and project closeout activities. - Collaborate with park operations, maintenance, safety, environmental, legal, sourcing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Coordinate project activities within an active operating environment while minimizing impacts to guests, Ambassadors, and park operations. - Track and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and project timelines throughout the project lifecycle. - Ensure compliance with company standards, applicable codes, permitting requirements, project controls, policies, procedures, and safety regulations. - Support capital planning and forecasting activities as assigned. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field. - Minimum 7 years of project management or construction management experience. - Experience leading the design and construction of medium- to large-scale capital projects valued at $1 million or greater. - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a commercial, hos…
