Join us. ## Job Description **AECOM** is actively seeking a highly talented and experienced **Senior Project Architect** to join our **Buildings + Places** business line in **Houston, Austin or Dallas Texas**. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead design efforts, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver innovative solutions for a diverse range of projects, including commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors. The ideal **Project Architect IV** candidate will bring a strong architectural background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating impactful spaces. This position requires a proven ability to manage complex projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure design excellence throughout all project phases. As a dynamic team of Architects, Planners, and Engineers we strive to incorporate beauty, sustainability, resiliency, equity, and innovation in our projects. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** - **Design Leadership**: Spearhead the design process for projects across commercial, industrial, logistics, and interiors sectors, ensuring innovative and client-focused solutions. - **Project Coordination**: Oversee all phases of project delivery, from conceptual design to construction administration, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - **Collaboration**: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders, to integrate architectural and technical solutions. - **Client Engagement**: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications. - **Mentorship**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. - **Technical Expertise**: Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards, while maintaining a high level of technical accuracy in project documentation.
