ABOUT THE ROLE We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own Budgets & Reporting — one of three squads inside Float’s Spend Management pillar, reporting to the Head of Spend Management. Your squad’s mission is to give finance leaders enough control and visibility that they are willing to put more of their company’s spend on Float. Budgets and reporting are not adoption goals in themselves. They exist to make a controller confident enough to raise a limit, open a new spend category, or migrate a spend type onto card — and that confidence is what shows up as revenue. You’ll own the depth half of Float’s growth equation: spend per active card. A sister squad owns getting cards into people’s hands; you own what happens to the cards that already exist. That means you can move the number without waiting on anyone else, and you’re accountable when it doesn’t move. This is the pillar’s heaviest roadmap and its least-instrumented problem space. We have never properly measured whether visibility actually drives spend. Building that evidence — and then acting on it — is a core part of the job, not a side project. You’ll work with a designer and four engineers, alongside Product Ops/Analytics, and partner closely with Accounting, CX, and Sales.
