This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building meaningful products from the ground up. ### Accountabilities: As a Senior Product Engineer (Backend), you will take ownership of designing, developing, and improving backend systems that support embedded products and customer-facing experiences. You will combine technical excellence with product awareness to deliver reliable solutions, improve developer experiences, and contribute to continuous innovation. - Design, build, and enhance scalable backend services, APIs, and SDKs that support embedded insurance and retirement products. - Own technical architecture decisions, system design, implementation, and long-term improvements across backend platforms. - Develop reliable and secure solutions using modern backend technologies, ensuring performance and scalability. - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, integration teams, and domain specialists to deliver customer-focused solutions. - Transform internal processes and workflows into efficient self-service capabilities that improve customer experiences. - Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues while promoting a blameless learning culture. - Research and implement improvements that strengthen product quality, operational efficiency, and platform reliability. - Contribute to API design, documentation, and developer experience initiatives that enable customers and partners to integrate successfully. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced backend engineer who combines strong technical skills with product-oriented thinking.
