Our tools work in 25 languages, are endlessly customizable to meet each business’s unique needs, and are used by customers ranging from crisis support call centers to healthcare organizations to customer service teams to sales teams negotiating big deals — any organization where empathy, quality, and excellence matter in every interaction. ## **About the Role** We are looking for a **Senior Platform Engineer** to establish and grow ReflexAI’s Platform Engineering function. This is a high-impact, multidisciplinary role for someone who thrives in growing startups, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is excited about working cross-team in a mission-driven organization . You will improve and maintain our multi-cloud infrastructure (GCP + AWS), expand our golden paths and guardrails, refine our observability and monitoring, and elevate our security posture with every commit. As the second member of a new team, your input to our technical vision, partnerships with other teams, and expertise and ability to deliver high quality software and systems will make you successful. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling AI company that believes in the value of platform engineering, getting your hands dirty building tools, infrastructure, and processes used daily by every engineer. ## **What You’ll Do** - Design, automate, and reduce the toil associated with maintaining ReflexAI’s multi-cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud and AWS. - Drive observability, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Create safe, reliable, scalable, and secure paths for software and systems to reach production. - Own the tooling that engineers use to build, test, and deploy code. - Standardize pipelines, guard rails, and gold paths to accelerate developer velocity. - Introduce and improve internal tooling that reduces operational overhead. - Improve on-call ergonomics and reduce MTTR through better instrumentation. - Implement best practices for secrets management, IAM, network security, vulnerability scanning, and container security. - Build automated checks and secure-by-default workflows into CI/CD and cloud environments. - Collaborate with Compliance and Security teams to ensure ReflexAI meets industry and customer expectations. ### ## **What We’re Looking For** ### - 5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering roles. - Deep hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) as well as Terraform and Terragrunt. - Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, guard rails, and golden paths for modern application stacks. - Proficiency in modern observability ecosystems (Datadog experience is a major plus). - Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, container security, and network architecture. - Experience with AI-driven development. ### **Nice to haves** - Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment. - Backend-related coding experience, primarily with Typescript - Background supporting machine learning, model serving, or data-intensive workloads. - Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, HITRUST). - Prior experience building internal developer platforms or paved-path tooling. ## ## What we offer - Some of the most rewarding work you will ever do, solving real problems and helping people be the best versions of themselves - Working alongside a team that is exceptionally smart and ambitious, but also hu…
