**Our New Teammate** You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting our clients networks. You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following: - 85% of time on Objective 1: Completing customer projects and solutions - 10% of time on Objective 2: Prioritization, planning, and scheduling - 5% of time on Objective 3: Professional growth and development **Job Responsibilities - What to Expect** - Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and WAN network infrastructure. - Serve as technical escalation point. - Create and maintain technical and process documentation. - Troubleshoot infrastructure related hardware or network connectivity issues. - Perform testing and validation of new hardware and code. - Lead the design, test, and implementation of network proposals. - Provide consultation support to internal and external partners for network infrastructure design and enhancements. **Your Knowledge & Expertise** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering related field (Preferred) - 10 years of experience in a computer related field. - JNCIP or CCNP (Required) - JNCIE or CCIE (Service Provider Preferred) - ITIL 4 Foundation (Preferred) - Experience in production network environments. - Experience in the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba switches, routers, and wireless access points. - Experience with the design, troubleshooting and configuration of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree. - Experience with leading the design and delivery of network projects. - Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. - Experience with the creation and maintenance of documentation such as operating procedures and network diagrams. - Strong customer service skills. - Strong technical troubleshooting skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong time, priority, and task management skills. - Familiarity with enterprise and user networks a plus. - Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks concurrently with minimal supervision. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Python and Ansible experience a plus. - Previous experience with Metro Ethernet networks and infrastructure a plus.
