Together, we create with confidence ## Overview Assembly is looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with a strong background in SEO technical diagnosis, audits and site migrations. As the technical SEO leader on client accounts, you’ll be joined by an SEO client manager who is responsible for the client overall and content personnel who will be focused on page optimization and copy development. ## Responsibilities - Conduct and present technical SEO audits to find ways to correct or improve site crawl and indexation, internationalization, schema markup and other structural page issues. - Conduct and present PageSpeed/Core Web Vitals audits to identify and recommend solutions to Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) issues. - Lead the technical aspects of site migrations, including pre-launch technical audits, URL redirect mapping and recording technical benchmarks. - Use SEO tools to identify technical SEO issues as they arise. - Respond to client-initiated technical questions/issues as they are presented. - Develop, prioritize, groom and QA client site development tickets (within JIRA or similar platforms) associated with technical SEO audits - Work closely with clients’ development agencies or internal teams to prioritize key optimizations and advise on SEO technical best practices - Educate yourself and clients on the latest developments in technical SEO and convey potential business impacts - Collaborate with junior and senior SEO personnel to review progress of project delivery and provide strategic insights. - Contribute to the improvement of the department by suggesting better, more efficient ways to execute business operations and provide higher-quality output to clients ## Required Skills - 5+ years in an in-house SEO role or marketing agency executing and presenting technical SEO audits and optimization recommendations - Proven ability to solve complex technical SEO issues (including Core Web Vitals) for enterprise-level brands based on diverse client goals, objectives, and inherent limitations - Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush and Accuranker - Experience navigating HTML, schema, CSS and JS code and making code-level recommendations - Experience working within JIRA or similar technical issue-tracking software - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint - Good ability to explain and deliver SEO insight and recommendations to non-SEO experts as well as internal team members - A passion for SEO with up-to-date industry knowledge/latest trends – algorithm and structural updates, and their impact(s) - Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines ## Benefits - Annual Leave in number of 15 a…
