We are currently seeking a **Senior Manager of Project Construction** with experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, pressure pipelines, gravity pipelines, and treatment plants. This position will be partly remote, with projects focused mainly on the East Coast of the United States. The Manager of Project Construction will oversee the execution and management of water and wastewater projects, providing leadership and technical guidance throughout the construction process. This position includes planning, organizing, and supervising construction activities for projects of significant size and complexity. The role will involve reviewing scope, budget, and schedules, while supervising the completion of projects and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join a forward-thinking team at H**2**O Innovation, contributing to sustainable and impactful projects in the water sector. **The Benefits** *Overall remuneration including:* - Group Insurance plan including dental, vision & telemedicine; - 401K plan with employer’s contribution; - Annual bonus; - Flexible hours & remote work (2 days/week); - Paid vacation & wellness days. **The Day-to-Day** - Manage preconstruction activities, including design review, procurement, and bidding; - Implement, oversee, and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs; - Lead and support the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget; - Serve as the owner’s representative, managing program and project execution with a value-added approach; - Conduct and attend project progress meetings, providing clear updates to stakeholders; - Identify and mitigate construction risks, monitor project schedules, and control associated costs; - Collaborate with business development teams to create proposals and marketing materials for new opportunities; - Ensure timely invoicing and accurate cost reporting for assigned projects, maintaining budget controls; - Develop, mentor, and manage field teams to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and execution; - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all construction activities; - Provide technical expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure, including reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. **The Skills We Are Looking for** - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered; - A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management and field operations, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure; - Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects; - Relevant certifications in water and wastewater construction management, such as CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or PE (Professional Engineer); - Extensive knowledge of construction principles, methods, and technologies related to water and wastewater facilities; - Familiarity with alternative delivery methods, including CMAR, DB, and DBB; - Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations; - Proficiency in project management software and field inspection tools; - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to clients, public groups, and internal teams; - Strong problem-solving abilities, including data analysis and decision-making under pressure; - Exceptional leader…
