Senior Manager, Games Family Hotel Operations Position Summary Reporting to Director, Games Family Services Operations, the Senior Manager, Games Family Hotel Operations is responsible for leading the planning and execution of accommodation for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) during the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Senior Manager will lead in the development and application of venue operating plans, policies and procedures for the Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels. In addition, the Senior Manager will help in the selection and training of all staff and volunteers working within these venues and will mentor, support, and supervise these team members both prior to and during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Senior Manager will serve as the venue owner/Venue Manager of the Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels (OFH/PFH). They will lead the OFH/PFH internal and external working groups leading up to the Games, working closely with all divisions of Games Family Services as well as all functional areas, contractors, IOC/IPC, the hotel management and client groups planning for and delivering the Ceremonies. Key Responsibilities Hotel Program Leadership: Develop and manage the holistic venue operational planning for the hotel program with the IOC, IPC, and related stakeholders. Support contracts and oversee relationships with hotel partners to ensure service excellence and compliance with LA28 standards. Support and guide the hotels to adapt to an Olympic/Paralympic environment through training and developing policies and procedures. Support with hotel and supplier contract negotiations in collaboration with LA28 Accommodation and Legal teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional areas (FA) including Accommodation, Transportation, Accreditation, Security, Logistics to deliver integrated solutions for the OFH/PFH. Serve as the primary liaison between LA28 and IOC/IPC for all Olympic/Paralympic Family Hotel-related matters. Venue Management: Act as Venue Manager for designated Olympic/Paralympic Family hotels, ensuring readiness, operational efficiency, and compliance with Games standards. Oversee venue staffing plans, operational timelines, and contingency planning. Coordinate with the design team, IOC and IPC to accurately reflect the operational plans and space allocations on the drawings and site maps. Budget & Reporting: Manage budgets for hotel and event operations, ensuring cost control and financial accountability. Checking and managing invoices related to LA28. Provide regular progress reports and risk assessments to leadership.
