Senior Manager, FP&A

Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A based in United States.** This role offers the opportunity to lead financial planning and analysis initiatives within a growing biopharmaceutical organization preparing for commercial expansion. You will partner with senior finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to transform financial data into actionable business insights. The position focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis to support critical business decisions. You will help build scalable FP&A processes, improve financial systems, and strengthen planning capabilities in a public-company environment. The role provides visibility into strategic planning, operational execution, and launch readiness activities. ### Accountabilities: The Senior Manager, FP&A will support the development and execution of financial planning processes while serving as a strategic finance partner to business leaders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate insights that influence decision-making. - Lead and support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning cycles, including timelines, assumptions, templates, and consolidation of financial results. - Partner with functional leaders to manage departmental budgets, analyze performance, and identify risks, opportunities, and drivers impacting financial outcomes. - Own and enhance financial planning systems, including model maintenance, reporting improvements, data integrity, dashboards, and user support. - Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including actual-versus-budget analysis and management insights. - Support commercial finance activities related to business growth and launch preparation, including sales force expenses, market access, patient services, distribution, revenue, inventory, and cost analysis. - Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support resource allocation and strategic initiatives. - Create executive-ready presentations and reporting materials that clearly communicate financial trends and recommendations. - Establish scalable FP&A processes, reporting standards, and planning governance aligned with public-company and SOX compliance requirements. - Collaborate with finance, accounting, and external partners to improve operational efficiency and financial visibility. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced FP&A professional with strong financial analysis skills, business acumen, and experience operating in complex, growth-oriented environments. They should be comfortable partnering with executives, managing multiple priorities, and translating financial information into strategic recommendations. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required. - MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance/accounting credentials preferred. - 6–8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or business planning roles. - Experience working in a public company environment with strong understanding of financial controls and reporting processes. - Biotech, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related industry experience required. - Commercial finance or product launch readiness experience strongly preferred. - Strong FP&A fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. - Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage complex analyses and communicate key findings effectively. - Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills with exp…
