By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. This position is looking for an experienced people manager to lead the Test & Evaluation Compliance function, spanning both FAA and FCC regulatory domains. You will manage and own FAA and FCC compliance - and be the single accountable leader for the T&E organization's regulatory posture. You will work closely with program leadership, legal, engineering, flight operations, and safety teams to enable Anduril to move fast without compromising regulatory adherence. The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril works across the entire spectrum of products and business lines, as well as all sub-surface, surface, airborne operation and test range management. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing and much more. In short, if it involves test, we support it. If you are interested in working in an extremely innovative and fast paced environment, where your work directly makes an impact and difference in the products that are fielded this a fantastic opportunity. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead the T&E Compliance team, directly managing the FAA Compliance Program Manager(s) and the FCC Compliance Program Manager(s), and owning the combined function's headcount, hiring, development, performance, and career progression. Accountable for regulatory compliance across FAA and FCC domains - from strategy and policy through day-to-day execution. Own the T&E compliance strategy: identify regulatory risk early, prioritize workload across FAA and FCC portfolios, and align compliance activity with program and product milestones. Serve as the executive-facing liaison to the FAA, FCC, NTIA, DoD, and other regulatory bodies for T&E matters, including escalations, novel-technology engagements, and cross-agency issues that require senior representation. Oversee the FAA workstream: COAs, 44807 exemptions, Part 21/91/107/135 operations, type certification, airworthiness, BVLOS strategy, and DoD airworthiness interfaces (e.g., DCMA 8210.1D, MIL-STD). Oversee the FCC workstream: Special Temporary Authority (STA), experimental licenses, spectrum coordination with NTIA, RF equipment certification, and EMI/EMC testing compliance. Partner with the Safety and Standards team to make sure regulatory requirements are reflected in T&E policies, procedures, and site-level SOPs, and that compliance is a routine part of test planning rather than a late-stage bolt-on. Build and maintain the metrics, dashboards, and operating reviews that give leadership visibility into regulatory posture - open filings, approval cycle time, expiring authorizations, audit findings, and outstanding risk. Develop and maintain a compliance risk management strategy for the T&E organization, including audit cadence, corrective-action tracking, and periodic internal reviews. Track and interpret FAA and FCC regulatory changes and translate them into actionable guidance for engineering, flight operations, and program teams. Build and maintain the compliance training curriculum for engineers, program managers, and flight ops personnel across both FAA and FCC topics. Represent T&E Compliance in cross-functional forums - safety review boards, test readiness reviews, program syncs - and ensure compliance risk is visible…
