Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade microservices solutions. In this role, you will develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java and modern cloud-native technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, contribute to CI/CD practices, and help deliver production-ready solutions that meet business and technical requirements. ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications - Develop backend microservices using modern software engineering practices - Contribute to the improvement of development, build, and deployment processes - Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions - Develop and integrate messaging-based and event-driven services - Implement OAuth authentication and authorization mechanisms - Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality - Support system deployment, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline implementation - Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle - Participate in effort estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions - Produce and maintain technical documentation - Follow secure coding practices and implement logging and auditing mechanisms - Develop high-quality code using Git and pull request workflows ### Requirements - University degree (minimum 3-year Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field - **Expert-level professional experience**, including: - At least **9 years of relevant experience** after obtaining a 4-year university degree, **or** - At least **10 years of relevant experience** after obtaining a 3-year university degree - Extensive experience developing enterprise Java applications - Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures - Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven systems - Strong experience with OAuth authentication and authorization - Experience developing REST APIs - Experience writing unit and integration tests - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Experience using Git and pull request workflows - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Strong understanding of secure coding principles, logging, and auditing - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Professional proficiency in English ### Nice to Have - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud - Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ - Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem - Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation ### You will be a great candidate for us if you - Have a passion for building scalable enterprise applications - Enjoy working with modern microservices architectures - Take ownership of software quality and security - Thrive in Agile and collaborative environments - Have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders ### Why join inventYOU - Work on modern enterprise software solutions - Collaborate with experienced software engineering teams - Contribute to cloud-native and microservices-based architectures - Develop your expertise in Java, DevOps, and modern backend technologies - Be part of technically challenging and impactful projects
