This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program. Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development, training, and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil, environmental, water resources, infrastructure, and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in the Northeast. In this hybrid role, you'll manage, support, and deliver a variety of water resource projects across New England, including: Baseline hydrogeologic and water resource studies Groundwater studies and water supply projects Permitting and operational support Contaminant investigations Primary Responsibilities: Lead project teams in hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, effluent recharge and mounding analysis for wastewater and environmental projects Manage staff and oversee data collection activities Conduct and analyze aquifer tests and predictive surface and groundwater modeling Prepare detailed reports, data visualizations, and hydrogeological studies Coordinate regulatory compliance, manage permitting with state and federal agencies, and prepare regulatory permit applications Participate in business development opportunities Mentor and coach less experienced staff to foster their growth What we're looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, or a related field is required Master’s degree is one of the above areas is preferred Must be a licensed Professional Geologist or have the ability to obtain licensure within one year 8+ years of relevant experience is required Prior experience with groundwater modeling and flow models Expertise in hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, wastewater disposal, and environmental projects Should have project management, public presentation, and regulatory coordination skills Experience with contaminant transport modeling is preferred #LI-JS1 Why you'll love working with us: Company-subsidized medical and dental Company-paid life, short, and long-term disability 401k match, tuition assistance, and more Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects Performance-based bonuses or other incentives Working with the best and brightest in the industry 2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations across the US Apex Job Title: Project Manager Req ID: 11852 Annual Expected Pay Range $100,000 — $125,000 USD We believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees, customers, and communities.
