RESPONSIBILITIES - Work closely with Product and Design Leaders to build performant and beautiful experiences for our users - Empathize with multiple user personas (including back office admins, referring healthcare providers, and even patients in the near future) to channel their perspectives into building product surfaces - Drive architecture decisions for our complex React app - Take ownership over visual quality — whether executing pixel-perfect designs with precision or leveraging strong design intuition to navigate and resolve ambiguity - Embrace a founder's mindset, proactively driving projects from conception to completion, and contributing significantly to our company's growth and success CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, front-end development, or full-stack development, with a strong focus on JavaScript and familiarity with React and TypeScript. - Strong knowledge of front-end performance optimizations and accessibility principles. - Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable web applications. - Passion for great design and user experience. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for efficient, clean coding practices. - Experience utilizing AI tools for prototyping, efficiency, etc. - Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. - A team player who thrives in collaborative environments and values diverse perspectives. - Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment is a plus.
