**Assyst is seeking** an experienced **Senior Enterprise Systems Administrator** to support our client in managing and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows Server, and Linux environments. This onsite role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for cloud infrastructure administration, identity and access management, server administration, automation, and infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise-scale environments, PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud technologies while ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical systems. ## **Roles & Responsibilities** - Administer, optimize, and maintain Microsoft Azure resources to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. - Monitor Azure resource utilization, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend infrastructure improvements and upgrades. - Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including user administration, Group Policy, DNS, and identity management activities. - Develop, deploy, and maintain Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and cloud resources. - Configure and administer Azure and AWS security controls to support enterprise infrastructure and user access requirements. - Provision, modify, and manage application access for Azure and AWS users, administrators, and application owners. - Collaborate with infrastructure teams and data center personnel to perform server deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and system enhancements. - Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve Windows Server and Linux server issues while minimizing business impact. - Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate server administration, Active Directory management, Azure administration, and system monitoring. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, standards, and system specifications. - Research, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions that align with business and infrastructure requirements. - Identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization and recommend process improvements. - Develop implementation schedules for software deployments and infrastructure initiatives. - Perform additional enterprise systems administration responsibilities as required. ## **Required Skills & Qualifications** ### **Education** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. ### **Required Experience** - Windows Server administration experience, including supporting Windows Server 2016 or newer. - Microsoft Azure and cloud administration experience. - Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration experience. - Administering Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy within enterprise environments supporting over **1,000 users**. - Linux server administration experience. - Hands-on experience writing, testing, and maintaining PowerShell scripts. - Experience working in virtualized and cloud-based infrastructure environments. - Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications. ### **Preferred Skills:** - Experience managing infrastructure projects supporting large, distributed user environments. - Experience coordinating schedules across multiple technical projects. - Experience administering Microsoft Azure Government and AWS cloud environments. - Experience supporting state government environments. - Experience managing and reporting project metrics in compliance with established standards. - Experience collaborating with software development and technical programming teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Knowledge of IT standards within criminal justice or similarly regulated environments. - Exposure to additional IT disciplines such…
