This role requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define priorities, improve processes, and ensure successful execution. - Manage daily activities of engineering teams, including goal setting, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development. - Partner with product leadership to define roadmaps, refine requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful delivery. - Establish engineering standards, ensure development processes are followed, and promote strong documentation practices. - Drive improvements across software development workflows, architecture, and engineering operations. - Support recruitment initiatives and help build high-performing engineering teams. - Define and monitor key performance indicators, service-level objectives, and system reliability metrics. - Collaborate with engineers to deliver solutions that meet scalability, performance, and reliability goals. - Guide technical decision-making and encourage clean architecture, maintainable code, and strong engineering practices. - Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement. - Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices to identify opportunities for innovation. ## **Requirements:** The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a strong software development background and a passion for building exceptional teams and products.
