As our Senior Engineering Manager for Progressive Onboarding and Funnel Optimisation, you'll lead multiple engineering teams at the heart of our Acquisition domain. You'll shape the technology behind customer onboarding, activation and growth, helping millions of customers begin their financial journey with Zip. Working alongside Product, Design and Engineering leaders, you'll combine technical leadership, AI enabled innovation and a relentless focus on customer experience to deliver measurable business outcomes while developing exceptional engineering talent. What you'll own Lead and inspire multiple engineering teams, building a culture of ownership, quality and continuous improvement. Shape the engineering strategy for customer acquisition, progressive onboarding and funnel optimisation, balancing long term platform evolution with delivery of strategic business priorities. Partner closely with Product and Design leaders to define priorities, manage dependencies and deliver meaningful customer outcomes. Drive the delivery of secure, scalable and reliable onboarding experiences that improve customer conversion and accelerate time to value. Champion experimentation, data driven decision making and AI enabled engineering practices to improve both customer experiences and engineering productivity. Coach and develop Engineering Managers and senior engineers, creating clear pathways for growth and building leadership capability across your organisation. Provide technical leadership on complex engineering and architectural challenges while maintaining high standards of engineering excellence. Improve delivery practices, developer experience and cross functional collaboration across Engineering, Product and Design. Support the evolution of key acquisition capabilities including progressive onboarding, customer data connectivity, Open Banking and credit data integrations. Strong background in growth engineering, digital onboarding or customer acquisition platforms. Experience building high performing engineering leaders and developing Engineering Managers. Strong technical knowledge of modern cloud based software engineering and distributed systems. Experience delivering large scale customer facing digital products across onboarding, payments, identity or ecommerce. A track record of using experimentation, A/B testing and data driven insights to improve customer journeys and business outcomes. Experience working with modern engineering practices and technologies including cloud platforms, AI enabled development tools and customer personalisation capabilities. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Engineering, Product and Design.
