Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact. # **A Day in the Life** # A DAY IN THE LIFE: The Senior Director, US Regulatory and Global Digital Health Policy, is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated regulatory policy and advocacy strategies across the U.S. regulatory environment and global digital health domains. This role shapes external regulatory frameworks—particularly for software, AI, and other emerging technologies—by influencing policy development, engaging with regulators and industry stakeholders, and translating regulatory intelligence into enterprise-level strategic insights. This position collaborates closely with leaders of Cybersecurity Policy and Global Harmonization/International Policy, including with respect to approaches for Digital Health. # KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Define and advance a cohesive regulatory policy strategy spanning U.S. regulatory frameworks and global digital health domains. - Shape the evolution of regulatory expectations for AI/ML, software, and emerging technologies. - Serve as a primary interface with the FDA and US facing industry associations with respect to regulatory policy. - Lead development of advocacy strategies, comments, and external policy engagement. - Monitor and interpret regulatory trends and translate into actionable strategic insights. - Identify first-mover opportunities and strategic implications for the business based on policy direction. - Coordinate enterprise alignment across Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Government Affairs, and business units. - Lead cross-functional initiatives through a global, matrixed organization. # COLLABORATION MODEL: This role operates in close partnership with complementary policy and strategy leaders, including the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Policy and the Senior Director of Global Harmonization and International Policy. **DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS** **Autonomy:** Manages multiple major, strategic programs and initiatives across the organization that require strong influence outside of immediate program stakeholders. Is accountable for overall program portfolio success. Assesses business strategy and recommends new programs or program changes. **Organizational Impact:** Establishes program portfolio objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets for multiple interconnected programs. Identifies business need and establishes new policies and procedures that affect program management. Has budget accountability for one or more strategic programs. Program decisions are made independently with strategic or costly decisions recommended to higher level management. **Innovation and Complexity:** Problems and issues faced are complex, undefined and impact multiple businesses, functions or programs, where information is typically difficult to obtain and extensive investigation to understand the root cause of problems is required. Responsible for changing or improving upon entire processes or systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation skills. **Communication and Influence:** Communicates and conducts briefings with senior or executive leadership regarding new strategic program proposals and critical program outcomes. Serves as principal spokesperson for multiple programs, interacting with leaders and executives on highly significant matters .
