About the Role As Senior Director, Program Management, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive the strategy, execution, and delivery of complex, high-stakes projects. You own the end-to-end program lifecycle — from initial scope and planning through final delivery — ensuring every cross-functional effort stays aligned with HeartFlow's long-term vision. Responsibilities Lead and direct multiple cross-functional program teams through the full lifecycle of complex initiatives, owning strategy, execution, and delivery. Define program strategy, timelines, and resource plans that meet business objectives, and drive teams to execute against them. Partner across functions to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, and decisions throughout each program. Build and implement risk management and contingency plans to keep programs on track. Communicate program status, priorities, and decisions clearly and consistently to team members and stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Serve as the face of your program(s) to the executive leadership team, representing progress, risks, and outcomes. Lead resolution of issues and conflicts within and across teams, escalating when appropriate. Coach and develop team members, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus. 10+ years of program/project management experience, including 5+ years leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization. Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device or healthcare) strongly preferred. Track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget. Strategic Risk Management: Proactively identifies program dependencies and builds contingency plans before they impact timeline or budget. Executive Presence: Presents to senior leadership with confidence and clarity, translating technical milestones into business value. Adaptive Leadership: Pivots strategy quickly in response to shifting market conditions or organizational priorities.
