We are growing and seek top-notch talent to help achieve our goals! **About the Department and Role** The Senior Director of Economic Advancement Centers (EAC) oversees all aspects of our rapid employment services. This includes oversight of the teams responsible for outreach, job development, employer engagement, and skill upgrades. **Major Duties and Responsibilities** **Strategy / Planning / Leadership** - Contribute to JobTrain organizational strategic planning; fully comprehend the strategic plan and ensure that the EAC teams deliver on the relevant elements of the strategic plan. - Develop, implement, and evaluate long-term, sustainable rapid employment services by working with JobTrain leadership and local the Economic Advancement Centers’ communities to understand and shape all rapid employment activities and coordinate with the Employer Engagement Liaison to identifying and development new, promising local employer partnerships in each unique EAC community. Take the lead of cultivating as well as local governance that may be interested in expanding and supporting EAC services. - Create and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners to understand needs and expectations, this includes creating and maintaining relationships with local government, resource providers and community partners utilizing their insights and feedback in the ongoing evolution of rapid employment services. - Collaborate across JobTrain divisions to strengthen cross-departmental support, embodying a “One Team” approach by partnering with fellow leaders and offering assistance whenever possible. **Manage Rapid Employment Activities** - Oversee the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of directors of locations reporting into the role and make budget and proposal recommendations. - Identify issues that may negatively impact each team’s work and collaborate with internal / external partners to address and mitigate bring issues to resolution - Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of rapid employment activities efficiently and effectively. - Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output. - Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of rapid employment activities, with a high level of integrity and professionalism. - Ensure accurate data is collected in a timely manner and manage the preparation and maintenance of reports needed to understand / measure effectiveness of rapid employment activities and ensure grant goals / commitments are met, use data to monitor and support contract outcomes. - Oversee and/or prepare periodic reports for management and funders, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal progress and accomplishments. **Manage Employees** - Manage and develop teams in alignment with organizational values, and leadership and core competencies. - Supervise a team of managers and individual contributor staff charged with recruiting clients, coordinating and maintaining partnerships with local government entities, comm…
