We envision a future where parents impacted by racial and social inequities can birth with dignity, parent with autonomy, and raise babies who are healthy, growing, and thriving. **Position Summary** The Senior Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s fundraising operations, donor relationships, and external engagement efforts that further the mission of Maternity Care Coalition (MCC). This position is responsible for maintaining accurate donor and gift records; overseeing the organization’s CRM and prospect management tools; processing gifts; preparing receipts and donor reports; and managing in-kind donations. The Senior Development Coordinator also provides essential support to the individual and corporate giving team through annual appeals, fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and events. **Core Functional Responsibilities** **Development Operations** - Serve as a primary administrator for the CRM, including creating and maintaining SOPs, leading training for licensed users, and ensuring the accuracy, security, and integrity of the data. - Manage data entry, including updating and adding contacts and organizations to the CRM; creating campaigns and external donation forms; and accurately coding specific subsets of constituents, including giving society donors, volunteers, partners, event attendees, and prospects. - Produce reports and manage dashboards to track fundraising and partnership efforts, including Meeting/Activity Reports, Pipeline Reports, and Funding Goals. - Stay informed on CRM updates and best practices. Proactively assess ways the agency can become more efficient in the use of the CRM to maximize our strategic priorities. - Manage MCC’s prospect research processes and protocols and work with colleagues to proactively identify donors and prospects to research and respond to research requests - Support the Development Team in planning and implementing MCC’s annual fundraising appeals and events with a specific focus on donor data lists, invoicing, gift processing and reconciliation. - Record all incoming donations in the CRM and promptly send tax receipts and acknowledgment letters to donors and funders, including all tribute gift notifications, new donor welcome emails, and printed and mailed notifications and e-cards. - Assist with moves management for individual donors by adding dated stewardship and solicitation deliverables to the CRM and providing timely reports to applicable prospect managers. - In partnership with the Grants Coordinator, ensure state charitable registrations are submitted and up-to-date. **Frontline Fundraising** - Support in the solicitation of and manage in-kind donations, including keeping MCC’s in-kind “Wish List” updated, silent auction asks, working with Administration Operations for item drop-off and distribution, communicating with in-kind donors and groups, and tracking in-kind donors in the CRM. - Assist with sending solicitation and stewardship communications to donors as part of annual campaigns. - Occasionally represent MCC and community events. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** - Experience using a donor CRM or fundraising database; experience with gift processing, donor records, and reporting - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear donor correspondence and internal repo…
