Senior Data Center Operations Manager Overview: The position will provide strategic leadership and advanced technical oversight for mission-critical data center operations supporting a high-priority federal initiative. This role requires deep expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Air Force environments, with a strong emphasis on secure, resilient, and efficient IT infrastructure management. Work Location: Completely on-site in Honolulu, HI - Fort Shafter Duration: 6-month contact-to-hire Pay: $150,000 - $155,000 during contract - $160,000-$165,000 upon conversion to FTE - benefits provided Basic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution of higher learning. Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in DoD data center management. At start date, must possess one or more of the following certifications in ACTIVE status: Project Management Professional (PMP) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Strong background in network architecture/engineering, enterprise IT infrastructure, and secure data center operations. Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects within DoD or large-scale enterprise IT environments. Proven experience in technical training and mentorship. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide executive-level reporting and technical advisement to senior leadership. Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused, organized, and plan work independently or collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment. Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through. Extensive leadership experience with the ability to command the respect of strong-willed technical personnel. Experience supporting customers with classified and unclassified environments. Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship. All applicants must have current DoD TS/SCI clearance eligibility day one and prior to entry on duty. Desired Qualifications and Skills: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution of higher learning. Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in Air Force data center management. Any of the following certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations or higher AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect – Professional Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
