Senior Consultant - Automation Tester - FSI

The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, experience with automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. At Infosys Consulting you will discover a truly global culture, highly dedicated and motivated colleagues, a co-operative work environment and enriching training opportunities Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. • Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools and best practices. • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective test plans. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution across environments. • Identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. • Perform root-cause analysis for automation failures and optimize scripts for reliability. • Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, dashboards, and documentation. • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. • Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate. • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. • Familiarity with Git and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust). • Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes). • ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
