**Benefits:** - Competitive salary - Flexible schedule - Training & development **Job Summary:** The **Homemaker Companion** provides clients various companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. **Essential Functions:** - Companion/Sitter - Provide companionship - Meal planning, preparation - Assist with shopping, driving, running errands - Perform light housekeeping activities - Medication Services - Assist with medications that the client self-administers **Qualifications/Educational Requirements:** - High school graduate or equivalent certificate - Experience as a Homemaker/Companion (in homes or facilities) is an asset - Meet passing criteria on DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test - Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job - Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job - Initial training will be provided This job description is used as a guide only and not inclusive of responsibilities and job duties Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour # Live your best life possible while helping others live theirs.
