This role focuses on planning, designing, inspecting, and managing civil engineering projects that support Fish and Boat Commission facilities. It involves leading complex work that ensures structures remain safe, efficient, and reliable. As a Senior Civil Engineer, General, you will perform the following duties: - **Project Planning:** Conduct engineering designs and calculations for structures, systems, and facilities across Commission properties - **Facility Assessment:** Evaluate the condition of buildings, roads, dams, and hatchery systems to identify repair or replacement needs - **Construction Oversight:** Monitor project progress, inspect work sites, and verify that construction follows required plans and specifications - **Regulatory Compliance:** Prepare and secure permits and approvals needed for facility development and renovation - **Technical Support:** Provide guidance to agency staff, respond to public concerns, and develop reports based on engineering investigations Interested in learning more? In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bellefonte.. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
