*Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago partners with mission-driven people and organizations across Cook and Lake counties to witness a message of mercy and hope to a world in need by improving lives and nourishing spirits; strengthening and empowering people, families, and communities; and committing to being present to our times through the eyes of faith.* **Role Overview** The Senior Care Coordinator Training Specialist designs and delivers training programs for senior care coordinators, aligning with CCAC values and requirements, while improving service quality, compliance, and efficiency through coaching, collaboration, and continuous learning. **Job Responsibilities** - Design and deliver onboarding, technical, compliance, and billing related training programs for designated senior care coordinator staff, ensuring alignment with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago (CCAC) values, resident-first culture, funder requirements and operational standards. - Advance departmental goals by improving service quality, compliance adherence, and operational efficiency through targeted training, coaching, and career development initiatives. - Collaborate with vendors and industry partners to source specialized training content and represent CCAC at professional events to promote best practices. - Partner with senior care coordination staff, People and Culture, and cross-functional teams to assess training needs, develop tailored programs, and share insights for continuous improvement. - Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success. **PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.** - Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day - Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time - Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs **Other Requirements: Comply with program and/or requirements related to:** - Background check - DMV Check **Additional Requirements:** - Driver's License - Automobile Insurance **Education and Experience Requirements:** Minimum - Associate's Degree (AA) in a related field of study 1-3 years Degree (AA) equivalent and relevant experience may substitute - Knowledge of care coordination/case management, compliance, and reporting requirements. - Strong facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft 365 - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 3-5 years Degree in equivalent and relevant experience Arts/Sciences may substitute (BA/BS) - Demonstrated experience working in complex multi-region care coordination/case management. - Experience designing structured training programs, delivering training in multiple formats, and supporting change management or system rollouts. - Ability to explain complex regulations in clear, practical terms. **Certifications and Licensure** - Minimum Illinois Department of Aging-Care Coordinator Certification (within 6 months of hire) - Preferred Illinois Department of Aging-Care Coordinator Certification
