Optimize Distribution Center layouts, material flows, Automation equipment, etc. Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to ensure their business needs are met by new system designs. Support business case justification for new technology, CapEx purchases and process enhancements. Translate complex technical information into simple documentation and presentations, independently. Leverage GenAI to automate time consuming tasks and improve internal processes. Experienced in equipment selection, design, standards, performance improvement, statistics. Able to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. Able to analyze and provide solutions for cost reduction through automation implementation and cost/benefit analysis. A superior multi-tasker, and have the ability to meet concurrent project deadlines. Known for delivering polished, high quality presentations and reports that influence and accelerate business decision making Able to travel up to 25%, peaking up to 50% during project implementations. You have… BS Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field required. 5+ years of engineering experience in multi-site industrial distribution, manufacturing, or processing environments preferred 5+ Years experience with SQL (Snowflake, MSSQL) and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, Grafana, etc.) Experience with simulation software (FlexSim, etc.) and MOST modeling Experience with using Warehouse Control Systems (WCS/WES) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Hands-on mechanical aptitude and an ability to understand how equipment and systems operate.
