Overview: We are seeking an experienced Auto Claims Adjuster who will be responsible for managing auto claims, including property damage, liability inquiries, rental management, and other relevant coverages. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to ensure fair claims practices while providing exceptional service to our clients. Locations: We are seeking candidates in Phoenix, AZ and Alpharetta, GA Key Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate contract language to discern coverage issues effectively. - Develop claims files through accurate and timely investigation and loss analysis. - Maintain a detailed file diary to facilitate swift resolution of claims. - Establish and monitor accurate reserves for each claim. - Identify and pursue recovery opportunities where applicable. - Comply with all statutory and regulatory fair claims practices. - Recognize and assess potential fraudulent claims. - Manage relationships with outside vendors efficiently regarding their work product and associated expenses. - Evaluate claim details critically and negotiate settlements effectively. - Build and maintain strong business relationships with both internal teams and external customers. - Act as a technical resource for less experienced adjusters on the team, providing guidance and support. - Contribute to the achievement of team goals, objectives, and overall results. - Assist with workload surges and catastrophe operations as needed, including potential overtime during designated events. ### Qualifications Experience & Education Requirements: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling auto claims, including complex coverage and liability investigations. - A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience is required. - Comprehensive understanding of insurance contracts, investigative methodologies, legal requirements, and relevant insurance regulations. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams and interact with diverse individuals. - Strong analytical aptitude for evaluating and interpreting information Desired Skills: - Exceptional Customer Service Abilities: Demonstrated commitment to providing top-notch service to clients, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and clarity while maintaining a positive rapport. - Proficiency in Investigation Techniques: Strong understanding of investigative methodologies, including how to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant information to assess claims accurately. Familiarity with evidence collection processes and conducting interviews to establish facts. - Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain detailed and organized claim files that facilitate quick reference and decision-making. - Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats.
