The Senior Associate, Student Support coordinates services and operational support for student support programs aimed at helping students navigate barriers to retention and success, including those experiencing life challenges and crises. This role supports front-line service delivery and administrative processes that contribute to a positive and consistent student experience. This role assists with day-to-day operations and administrative functions for student support initiatives, which may include requisitions, budget tracking, and program logistics at the campus and/or district level. This role coordinates student support reception services for their assigned campus location, including scheduling, hiring, and supervision of part time and student workers. Additionally, the Senior Associate supports district-wide program initiatives and activities, which may include maintaining resource and referral information, assisting with community partnerships, and supporting outreach efforts across student support programs. - Provide front-line support or coordinate reception-related activities for Student Support programs, which may include managing communications (phone, email, text), scheduling, and intake processes. - Train, supervise and schedule student workers (part time and/or Federal Work Study). - Support consistent and student-centered service delivery by following established intake processes, scheduling practices, and service expectations. - Coordinate student support process for individuals experiencing barriers to retention and success, including assessing needs and facilitating connections to appropriate campus and community resources. - Assist in maintaining a warm, inclusive environment that affirms all students’ sense of belonging and support. - Maintain confidential student records and utilize college systems to document interactions, track service usage, and support follow-up as needed. - Monitor day-to-day departmental operations including supply inventories, calendar appointments, distribution of incoming/outgoing mail, etc. - Assist with requisitions, purchase orders, and budget tracking for student support programs and related initiatives at the campus and/or district level. - Support the development and maintenance of forms, procedures, and standard operating practices to ensure effective and compliant program operations. - Monitor trends and share feedback with campus and district leadership to enhance the student experience. - Serve as a point of contact or support liaison for campus and community partnerships, as assigned, which may include coordinating activities, maintaining records, and supporting compliance with partnership requirements. - Participate in meetings or trainings as assigned. - Additional duties as assigned - High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of related full-time experience - Experience in customer service in a high-contact, public-facing role. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Associate’s Degree, preferred. - Experience assisting students in a college or university setting is preferred. - Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Banner, Navigate) is preferred. - Supervisory experience, particularly in frontline or part-time staff management is preferred. - Bilingual/multilingual skills is preferred. - Generally works in an office environment - Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be needed during peak enrollment periods or special events. - Regular on-campus presence is required. **Physical Requirements:** - Frequently required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds. - May involve extended periods of standing or sitting in high-traffic areas.
