Senior Analyst - Legal

## Role Purpose To manage and oversee all litigation and dispute resolution matters of the organization, provide strategic legal support, coordinate with external counsels, mitigate legal risks, and ensure effective representation of the organization's interests before courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities, and other judicial/quasi-judicial forums. ## Key Responsibilities - Handle and monitor litigation matters across courts, tribunals, arbitration proceedings, and other dispute-resolution forums. - Develop litigation strategies and coordinate with external counsels for effective case management. - Draft, review, and vet legal notices, pleadings, affidavits, written statements, replies, applications, and other litigation-related documents. - Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on contentious and regulatory matters. - Assess litigation risks and recommend appropriate legal strategies to protect organizational interests. - Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and external stakeholders. - Maintain records of litigation cases and prepare periodic status reports for management. - Ensure timely filing of cases, responses, appeals, and compliance with court directions. - Support dispute resolution through arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and settlement negotiations. - Monitor legal developments and advise business teams on potential legal implications and risk mitigation measures. ### Requirements - **Qualifications** - LL.B. degree from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred. - Enrolled with the Bar Council of India and eligible to appear before courts/tribunals. - 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and legal advisory. - Experience in handling civil, commercial, contractual, regulatory, and employment-related disputes. - Proven experience in managing external counsel, court matters, and legal documentation. - Strong understanding of applicable laws, court procedures, and regulatory requirements. ### Preferred Skills - Strong expertise in litigation strategy, case management, and dispute resolution. - Proficiency in drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal notices, affidavits, written statements, and legal opinions. - Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to assess litigation risks and recommend practical legal solutions. - Strong advocacy, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities. - Experience in coordinating with external counsels, regulatory authorities, and government agencies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - High ethical standards, professional integrity, and attention to detail.
