Position Type Full-Time/Regular About the Role This role ensures accurate and timely processing of application materials, delivers high-quality customer service to applicants and their families, helps facilitate the preparation of international admissions and immigration documents, and supervises work-study students. The Senior Admissions Coordinator works primarily with colleagues on the international admissions team but may also partner with other staff in related offices. This role reports to the Associate Director of International Admissions. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and resolve issues affecting the accuracy of freshman and transfer applications. Update applicant records, verify final grades, and communicate necessary changes to ensure alignment with immigration documentation. Assist with the preparation and quality assurance of international admission decisions. Provide high-level support to the international admissions team, including scheduling prospective student interviews for overseas travel, coordinating outreach events, and assisting with the planning of campus events. Respond to inquiries from international students, families, and school counselors. Provide guidance on application status, program requirements, admissions decisions, scholarships, and U.S. higher education. Help process immigration documents. Track financial documentation, ensure records are matched accurately, and communicate with schools and students to complete required forms. The successful candidate must reside within a 3-hour commuting distance of the University to attend occasional in-person events as required.
