Senior Accountant

ABOUT TRADEIFY Tradeify is a fast growing, fully remote proprietary trading firm with a team of 130+ people across 26+ countries. Our brands include Tradeify and Slay Markets (Tradeify Brokerage). As we scale, we are adding entities, payment channels, and financial complexity, and we are building out a dedicated in-house accounting function to support it. This is a foundational hire with real ownership and a clear path to grow with the company. ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring our first dedicated in-house Senior Accountant to own day to day accounting operations and, over time, help build and lead our accounting function. You will work closely with our CFO/COO, FP&A team, and external accounting partners in a high volume, multi-channel payment environment. If you want to put your stamp on how a finance function is built rather than inherit someone else's, this role is for you. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Own the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process and drive it to predictable, on time completion - Reconcile complex, high volume payment flows including merchant processing fees, chargebacks, refunds, Rise account activity, PayPal activity, and affiliate payouts - Maintain the general ledger across multiple legal entities and ensure intercompany activity is accurate and eliminated correctly - Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations - Produce accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP - Build and document scalable accounting processes and internal controls as the company adds entities, transactions, and complexity - Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Support external accountants and auditors and serve as a key internal point of contact - Help evaluate, implement, and improve accounting systems and automation - As the function grows, help hire, mentor, and lead the accounting team WHAT YOU BRING - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full cycle month end close ownership - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls - Hands on experience reconciling high volume transactions across multiple payment processors - Multi entity accounting experience - Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills - Experience with cloud accounting or ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of ownership - Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast moving, fully remote environment NICE TO HAVE - CPA or active CPA candidate - Fintech, payments, brokerage, trading, or broader financial services experience - Digital asset or crypto accounting exposure - Experience standing up or scaling an accounting function at a high growth company - Familiarity with payout platforms and affiliate or partner payment models WHY JOIN TRADEIFY - Join a professional-grade futures trading firm at a pivotal stage of growth - Work with and learn from experienced traders across multiple asset classes - High-performance culture that rewards ownership, curiosity, and results - Access to premium market data tools, exchange infrastructure, and industry resources - Competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits - Be a foundational member of the accounting operations at a growing fintech company A NOTE ON OUR HIRING PROCESS At Tradeify Futures, we use AI-assisted tools as part of our recruiting process, which may include resume screening, application review, and candidate communication.
