About the Opportunity Teads is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our global Finance team based in Gurugram, India . In this role, you will support both our Corporate and US accounting functions, contributing to the financial operations of a fast-paced, global organization. As part of the Corporate Accounting team, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our global financial records across multiple international entities. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, while supporting financial reporting and maintaining strong accounting controls. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting , with a dotted-line relationship to the Director of Finance in Gurgaon, this position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise across multiple areas of accounting while working alongside a collaborative global Finance team in a rapidly evolving digital business. The successful applicant will be able to fulfill the following tasks: Perform and lead month-end close activities including but not limited to: preparation, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, posting and reviewing journal entries, executing intercompany journal entries and transactions, and review of reconciliations prepared by accounting staff Oversee accounting staff to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables and management of team well-being Proper revenue, cost, and expense recognition, including at the departmental level Performing quarterly / annual close procedures and balance sheet and income statement analysis and document insightful and meaningful explanations for fluctuations Prepare quarterly roll-forward analyses and reconciliations for various accounts, including areas of complex technical accounting, such as equity and capitalized software Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting information for Teads budget owners, management and finance executive team Manage budget vs. actual analyses on a monthly basis and communicate across all functions / departments Assist in the financial reporting process, external audit and quarterly reviews, including the accumulation of support and responding to audit inquiries Assist with various projects and tasks assigned by manager and handling other ad hoc tasks within finance when required Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CA, CPA Ability to manage own time while responsible for multiple tasks and deadlines 10+ years of accounting experience for Non-CA, CA Candidate 6+ years Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to anticipate; detail oriented and strong follow-through skills Able to work effectively as part of a team and liaise across multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) to achieve objectives A great communicator who can respond quickly in a fast-moving environment, with all levels including management and external parties Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to handle changing circumstances when necessary Self-motivation with interests in understanding processes / systems related to overall manage…
